PLAYERS WELFARE AMONG KEY INGREDIENTS AT JDT

The welfare of the players are of utmost importance at Johor Darul Ta'zim FC since HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor established the club in 2013.

"Failure to pay salaries is the biggest failure as a leader," decreed HRH Tunku Ismail.

The Southern Tigers have not had any issues relating to salaries or bonuses of the players, coaches and staff since 2013.

The club also provides world class facilities that are arguably the best in Southeast Asia and results speak for itself — 15 trophies, including the record breaking 2015 AFC Cup and six consecutive Malaysia Super League titles.

Even the JDT Academy returned with multiple trophies for the past two seasons.

The Covid-19 pandemic tested the club's resources but the players, coaches, staff and management showed what the JDT Family was all about.

The player, coaches and staff unanimously agreed for a pay cut to help the financial situation and to donate a portion of their salaries to the Johor Disaster Fund as part of their social responsibility. Luaskan Kuasamu Johor.
