FAKTA MENARIK | SEJARAH NEGERI JOHOR | KEPRIHATINAN ISTANA JOHOR TERHADAP KEBAJIKAN RAKYAT - BAHAGIAN EMPAT
Keprihatinan Kesultanan Johor sejak zaman Sultan Sir Abu Bakar terhadap kebajikan rakyat dapat dilihat apabila wujudnya pelbagai infrastruktur awam untuk dinikmati rakyat seperti sekolah, masjid, rumah ibadat, jalan raya serta pusat perubatan khususnya seperti hospital yang lebih baik pada ketika itu.
DYMM Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Johor dan DYAM Mejar Jeneral Tunku Ismail, Tunku Mahkota Johor turut bersama membantu kerajaan dalam meneruskan usaha yang dilakukan moyang baginda dengan mengurniakan pelbagai peralatan dan kelengkapan canggih untuk kegunaan perubatan hospital.
Pada tahun 2016, DYMM Sultan Ibrahim telah mengurniakan mesin CT-Simulator bernilai RM2.3 juta kepada Hospital Sultan Ismail di mana ianya memanfaatkan ribuan pesakit kanser. DYAM Tunku Mahkota Johor sendiri kerap meluangkan masa melawat ke seluruh pelusuk daerah serta turut menghulurkan kurniaan secara peribadi kepada beberapa hospital di Johor Bahru, Kulai dan Kota Tinggi.
Terkini, melalui Yayasan Sultan Ibrahim Johor, baginda Tuanku Sultan mengurniakan peralatan dan keperluan hospital-hospital seperti unit-unit ventilator, cadar dan bantal serta peralatan perlindungan diri berserta ‘Biological Isolation Chamber’ kepada petugas-petugas perubatan ketika wabak Covid-19 melanda seluruh rakyat.
Ianya jelas merupakan bagaimana kebajikan rakyat dan negeri Johor sentiasa berada dalam denyut nadi baginda DYMM Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Johor dan DYAM Mejar Jeneral Tunku Ismail Tunku Mahkota Johor serta seluruh keluarga DiRaja. Allah Peliharakan Sultan.

The Johor Sultanate's concern for the rakyat's welfare could already be seen since the Sultan Sir Abu Bakar era when various public infrastructure were enjoyed by the rakyat such as schools, mosques, places of worship, roads and medical centres such as hospitals that were ahead of its time.
HM Sultan Ibrahim, Sultan of Johor, and HRH Major General Tunku Ismail, Crown Prince of Johor, have worked together with the state government in continuing past efforts by contributing advanced equipment and machines for hospitals.
In 2016, HM Sultan Ibrahim contributed CT-Simulator machines worth RM2.3 million to the Sultan Ismail Hospital that benefited thousands of cancer patients. HRH Crown Prince of Johor has often spent time visiting other districts and giving personal donations to hospitals in Johor Bahru, Kulai and Kota Tinggi.
Most recently, through Yayasan Sultan Ibrahim Johor, His Majesty Tuanku has contributed hospital equipment and supplies such as ventilators, bed sheets, pillows and personal protective equipment as well as Biological Isolation Chambers to medical staff during the Covid-19 outbreak that has affected the rakyat.
It is clear that the welfare of the rakyat and state has always been important for HM Sultan Ibrahim, Sultan of Johor, and HRH Major General Tunku Ismail, Crown Prince of Johor, as well as the entire Royal Family. Allah Peliharakan Sultan.
