Terbaharu bencana seperti wabak Covid-19 yang membimbangkan seluruh rakyat jelas mendapat perhatian khusus keluarga DiRaja Johor. Sumbangan berbentuk aliran tunai dan pelbagai barangan keperluan mendesak untuk petugas-petugas dan rakyat telah diagihkan.
Tradisi kerabat diraja yang sering meluangkan masa menjenguk nasib rakyat secara langsung kebanyakannya berlaku secara spontan dan bersahaja. Umum kini dapat melihat segalanya tercatit dalam paparan media dan akan menjadi sejarah yang harus dihargai oleh generasi-generasi akan datang.
Istana Johor tidak pernah sama sekali merasa selesa dengan kesulitan yang dihadapi rakyat serta banyak usaha dilakukan disebalik tabir tanpa pengetahuan umum. Kepelbagaian bentuk rencana bantuan dirancang secara berterusan. When the state and country face any natural disaster and emergency, the Johor Sultanate has always played a huge role in helping the rakyat in need. Whether it is reported in the news or not, the Johor Royal Family will carry out the social responsibility especially when involving the beloved rakyat in Johor.
HM Sultan Ibrahim, HM Permaisuri of Johor, HRH Crown Prince of Johor and other Royal Family members have always ensured the Johor rakyat's welfare is in good condition. In fact, His Majesty Tuanku will often head out alongside government departments to ensure the situation is always under control in Johor when any disaster strikes.
Natural disasters in Johor have always received immediate reactions from His Majesty Tuanku and the Royal Family due to the constant worry about difficulties faced by the Johor rakyat. Various forms of help will be sent out to affected districts.
Most recently the worrisome Covid-19 pandemic has captured the Johor Royal Family's attention. Various contributions in the forms of cash flow and daily necessities have been distributed to workers and rakyat.
