The Sultan Ibrahim Stadium is almost ready for Johor Darul Ta'zim FC's (JDT) 2020 campaign in February.

Works are currently in the final stages of finer detailing before a handover by the contractors to JDT on January 20.

Among the final areas being completed include the changing rooms, corporate boxes’ interior, ticketing counters and pitchside carpeting.

LED lights are currently being enhanced to enable an even better viewing experience while the fan turnstiles that will be installed are temporary as the more sophisticated turnstiles - the first in Malaysia - that has been ordered and will arrive in April.

The Grandstand areas are temporarily fitted with plastic chairs while awaiting leather seats that will arrive in March.
