In regards to the recent news on an arbitration decision of a case involving Johor Darul Ta'zim FC's (JDT) player Akhyar Rashid, JDT would like to clarify that the club is not a party to the decision. [1/3]

The case was between Akhyar and his former employers over compensation during contract termination, at which point JDT were never involved.

To those that don't understand this case, there is no point getting 'excited' over the decision. JDT have checked with our lawyers and were told that the club is not part of this case nor affected by any claim.
