FAKTA MENARIK | SEJARAH NEGERI JOHOR | PERPADUAN ASPEK UTAMA KEHARMONIAN BANGSA JOHOR - BAHAGIAN TIGA
Rakyat Johor amat bertuah mempunyai institusi Kesultanan yang amat mengambil berat soal perpaduan. Keharmonian semua kaum sejak dahulu terus diberi perhatian istimewa dibawah kepimpinan DYMM Sultan Ibrahim, Sultan Johor dan DYAM Tunku Mahkota Ismail, Pemangku Raja.
Allah Peliharakan Sultan.

The Johor rakyat are lucky to have a Sultanate institution that cares about unity. The multi-racial harmony has always been given special attention under the leadership of HM Sultan Ibrahim, Sultan of Johor, and HRH Tunku Mahkota Ismail, Regent of Johor.
As a symbol of unity in Johor, the Johor rakyat should be proud to have a ruler who has always participated in large festivals of major races in Johor. For example, the Chingay festival officiated by the Sultan of Johor has been an annual celebration of various Chinese ethnic groups such as Cantonese, Hakka, Hainan, Guangsiew, Hokkien and Teochew in Johor since the mid-1800s.
We can also see from how HM Sultan Ibrahim has officiated the opening of temples and attended Indian celebrations such as Thaipusam. HRH Tunku Mahkota Ismail's willingness to spontaneously go to Deepavali bazaars to meet the rakyat is also the Johor Sultanate's way to show support for the multiracial harmony in Johor.
It is also not something new to have important positions being held by different races who loyally serve under the Royal Institution. Sultan Sir Abu Bakar once appointed the head of the Chinese community, Major Dato' Tan Hiok Nee, and Kapitan Cina, Seah Thye Heng, as state assembly members to help in Johor's administrative system and economic development. Allah Peliharakan Sultan.
