Pada tahun 1883, Johor telah menyertai pameran antarabangsa di Adelaide dan beberapa tahun kemudian di Chicago serta San Francisco yang turut disertai oleh pelbagai negara maju lain. Nama Johor semakin melonjak naik di persada antarabangsa sekaligus menjadi faktor utama kehadiran pelbagai delegasi luar ke negeri Johor.
Pertumbuhan ekonomi yang rancak, polisi kerajaan yang berkesan serta kualiti urustadbir kerajaan oleh barisan kabinet yang diketuai oleh Sultan Johor menunjukkan sistem pemerintahan Raja Berpelembagaan telah menyaksikan Johor berjaya mendahului negeri-negeri Melayu yang lain.
Kehadiran pelabur-pelabur asing turut membantu melonjakkan ekonomi negeri dan mengukuhkan lagi hasil negeri dibawah kepimpinan Kesultanan Johor Moden sekaligus menaikkan taraf hidup rakyat pada masa itu. Allah Peliharakan Sultan.

In 1883, Johor participated in an international convention in Adelaide, followed by further appearances in Chicago and San Francisco a few years later that were also joined by other advanced countries. Johor's name was on the rise at the international level, which became a key factor for various foreign delegations coming to Johor.
Rapid economic growth, effective government policies and quality administrative management by the Cabinet led by the Sultan of Johor showed that the Constitutional Monarchy system leapfrogged Johor ahead of other Malay states.
