Harian Metro reported today, the dream of Johor Darul Ta'zim FC (JDT) owner HRH Tunku Mahkota Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Regent of Johor in seeing the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium become the number one stadium in Southeast Asia.

The stadium would be recognised by other football organisations and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in the future. Also emphasised were other important elements especially the quality of the football pitch surface and an even more complete training centre.

His Royal Highness also hoped that other teams to improve the quality of their football pitches because that would not only benefit the clubs but also the national team.
