He urged Perbadanan Stadium Malaysia (PSM) to study the grass used at Johor Darul Ta'zim FC's (JDT) new stadium. The Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, currently in the final phase of completion, uses the Zoysia Zeon grass, which is the latest and best type of grass.

The Zoysia Zeon grass is also used at the JDT Training Centre in Seri Gelam, Johor Bahru.
