The 2019 Malaysia Super League season has only seven rounds left. To date, defending champions Johor Darul Ta'zim FC (JDT) have continued to reign at the top of the league with a huge lead over the five nearest challengers on the 2019 Malaysia Super League table.

High team spirit, focus and self-confidence have helped JDT be on a great path to date, as evident after playing well and remaining consistent throughout a hectic schedule in May 2019 without having a dip in performance.

Throughout May 2019, JDT recorded four straight wins in the 2019 Malaysia Super League, defeating Felda United 0-2 (Jengka Stadium), Pahang FA 2-0 (Larkin Stadium), PKNS FC 1-2 (Shah Alam Stadium) and Kedah 2-0 (Larkin Stadium).

JDT also recorded an impressive result in the AFC Champions League (ACL) by defeating defending champions Kashima Antlers 1-0. JDT ended the Group E campaign with a 2-0 loss to Gyeongnam FC despite performing well away from home and dominating the match.

The Malaysia Super League currently takes a break in conjunction with Aidilfitri. Surely, the players will use this opportunity to get enough rest and return with a rejuvenated fighting spirit.
