The JDT All-Stars Friendly, which sees some of football's biggest names of yesteryear such as Rivaldo, Bebeto, Claudio Caniggia, Robert Pires, Claude Makelele, Edgar Davids and many more take the field at Larkin, is the brainchild of HRH Crown Prince of Johor.

The cancer patients will watch the match at Larkin as guests before receiving mock cheques symbolising the charity aspects of the star-studded spectacle.

Children suffering from cancer have also been invited to partake in the Coaching Clinic involving the visiting football legends and JDT Academy trainees at the Padang Seri Gelam Training Centre on July 1.

All proceeds from the match will be donated to the Tunku Laksamana Johor Cancer Foundation, National Cancer Society of Malaysia and the Women's Aid Organisation.
