Johor Darul Ta'zim FC (JDT) welcomed representatives of Manchester City - Vice President, Mr. Damion Willoughby, Marketing Director, Mr. Francisco Lopez, and Mr. Stephan Cieplik, Partnership & Sales Director (Southeast Asia) - to Malaysia on 12 January 2015. [1/4]

The aim of the visit was to discuss a collaboration between both sides, which was approved by HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, the Crown Prince of Johor.

On 7 February 2019, Johor Darul Ta'zim FC agreed to collaborate with Dr. Juan Manuel Boffa, who is also a consultant with English champions Manchester City.

Boffa, who has worked with Pep Guardiola, is a specialist in sports medicine and physical education, and also specialises in football traumatology.
