Johor Darul Ta'zim FC (JDT) recorded an encouraging AFC Champions League (ACL) debut despite failing to qualify for the last 16 after falling at the hands of Korea Republic representatives, Gyeonam FC. [1/4]
Although competing for the first time in Asia's premier club tournament, JDT did not seem out of place, but rather managed to put up a tough challenge for the teams drawn together in group E.
[2/4]
JDT managed to collect four points from one draw and the win over defending ACL champions, Kashima Antlers, writing a new historic chapter for the Southern Tigers in the process.
[3/4]
Also catching attention is that JDT managed to better two Australian clubs, Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory, and Thailand league champions Buriram United in terms of points collected, goals scored and goals conceded. Luaskan Kuasamu Johor.
