We know that the World Football Summit (WFS) taking place in Kuala Lumpur was because of the initiative of HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor as President of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM). [1/4]

His Royal Highness was previously present at the summit held in Madrid and that sparked this idea, from the initial planning up to the event held today.

Before His Royal Highness stepped down as president, a lot of things were done, including the restructuring of FAM. The WFS conference was also one of His Royal Highness' inspirations.

As the new President, I brought continuity to this and I am really satisfied with the summit and also the attention it has received.
