Many are saying that the referee that officiated the match between Johor Darul Ta'zim FC (JDT) and Felda United last night was a Johorean. If what is being said is correct, Football Association of Malaysia need to take responsibility over this weakness. [1/5]
We regret FAM's procedure on selecting referees and it must be changed. It doesn't look good nor professional on FAM. FAM must be more responsible in ensuring something like this doesn't happen again.

There have been plenty of comments about the officiating, especially the three red cards for Felda. Is this only an issue because it was JDT's opponents?

I ask this because all three red cards were second yellows after the respective players committed offences that warranted a booking.

If you say the referee was biased then are you also saying it's okay for harsh tackles from behind, time wasting and pushing match officials?
