The Tan Sri Dato' Haji Hassan Yunos Stadium may see another footballing legend in attendance next week when Johor Darul Ta'zim FC (FC) host their first ever AFC Champions League home match, against Gyeongnam FC of the Republic of Korea on March 12. [1/6]

Two-time World Cup winner and three-time World Player of the Year Ronaldo, who is the majority shareholder of La Liga side Real Valladolid, is also scheduled for talks with  JDT owner HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor.

The talks is to discuss the possiblity of young aspiring JDT players undergoing stints with Real Valladolid B in the Segunda Division B.

JDT previously sent Gary Steven Robbat on a stint with German side Borussia Dortmund while Syamer Kutty Abba and Dominic Tan went to Portugal in 2018.

Coaches from Dortmund and Spanish side Valencia CF have also been involved in the JDT academy, including the setting up and drawing of blueprints.
