Tackles are one of the main causes of football injuries. There are tackles that cause light injuries, and there are also dangerous injuries that can force footballers to end their careers early. [1/5]

Such dangerous tackles can cause bad injuries such as Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries, Medical Collateral Ligament (MCL) injuries, meniscus and muscle tears.

The recovery process for such injuries can take a long time, up to several months and affect many parties in terms of time and expenses.

[3/5]

ACL injuries that require surgery are expected to cost between RM24,000 and RM26,000 and players need to rest for a year before returning to action. The same goes for MCL injuries as players need 3 to 4 months to fully recover.
