Set to make their Champions League debut in 2019, the Southern Tigers want to put out a respectable challenge in Asia's premier competition as keeping the players fresh may be one of the ingredients for Luciano Figueroa's charges.

The rotation is also part of efforts to ensure the players have match fitness and are ready to be called upon in any instance in case of injuries, suspension or fatigue. JDT will play four matches - including two Champions League ties - in 12 days in March.

Youngster Syafiq Ahmad has benefitted most with three starts in as many games while centre-back Adam Nor Azlin has two starts following Aidil Zafuan Abdul Radzak's inclusion in the previous match against Terengganu.

Other youngsters Afiq Fazail and Syamer Kutty Abba have started one match each, taking turns to fill in for an injured Natxo Insa.
New signing Akhyar Rashid came off the bench three times as the club eases him into first team action.
