Johor Darul Ta'zim FC (JDT) have emphasised on the importance of sports science as part of an effort to improve the team's performance. One of the new machines being used is the Saliva Testing Machine. [1/4]

The test is conducted by JDT sports scientist, Costas Rostandis on every player to evaluate their stress level and possible immune suppression.

Through this machine, all information and DNA (Deoxyribonucleic Acid) of the players can be tested clinically and the machine can provide faster results than a conventional blood tests.

All results will be evaluated by coaches to ensure every player is fit and if there's any injured player, the test will be able to detect the cause of the injury and facilitate the team doctor in treatment. Luaskan Kuasamu Johor.
