Johor Darul Ta'zim FC (JDT) have invested in improving various aspects of the club ahead of a 2019 campaign that will see the club make an unprecedented appearance in the AFC Champions League group stage. [1/6]

While Luciano Figueroa, Martin Prest and owner HRH Major General Tunku Ismail have worked hard in securing new signings such as Mauricio dos Santos Nascimento, Aaron Niguez, Diogo Luis Santo and Akhyar Rashid, off the pitch aspects were also given due consideration.

The Southern Tigers have spent RM1.4 million on improving the Sports Science Department. This includes hiring new personnel and equipment such as Saliva Testing Kits,Super Inductive System,Hypervolt Vibration Massage Device, Hydrotheraphy Machine & Smartspeed System Gates.

JDT are also providing the players psychological assistance to ensure they are in the best mental state for football.

Even the caterers at Padang Seri Gelam Training Centre were also changed to suit dietary needs. New JDT Sports Scientist Costas Rostandis has provided the new caterers a guide on preparing nutritious food for the players.
