Sejarah telah membuktikan bahawa Kerajaan Johor Moden telah mempamerkan keupayaan politik dan pentadbiran yang tinggi. Biarpun melalui pelbagai konflik dan cabaran politik, pentadbiran kerajaan tidak tergugat membolehkan institusi Kesultanan Johor Moden memastikan kesejahteraan rakyat dan negeri sentiasa diberikan keutamaan.

Sejak tahun 1860an lagi, Sultan Sir Abu Bakar menekankan bahawa Istana itu Kerajaan dan Kerajaan itu Istana. Kemampanan dan kelicinan tadbir urus dibawah pemerintahan baginda adalah demi kestabilan negeri dan kesejahteraan rakyat. Pentadbiran kerajaan Johor turut bertanggungjawab memastikan rakyat berada dalam negeri yang selesa.

Selain itu, rakyat Johor sejak dahulu lagi sudah biasa mendengar, melihat, malah berpengalaman sendiri menerima kurniaan peribadi dari DYMM Sultan Johor dan DYAM Tunku Mahkota Johor tanpa mengira kaum, agama dan kepercayaan kerana semua rakyat adalah Bangsa Johor dibawah naungan Kesultanan Johor.
