In 2015, Johor Darul Ta'zim FC (JDT) won the Charity Cup for the first time in front of nearly 25,000 fans at the Tan Sri Dato' Haji Hassan Yunos Stadium, Larkin, kicking off a glorious year for the Southern Tigers. [1/3]

The trophy was won after defeating Pahang 2-0. The Southern Tigers kept the trophy in Johor the following year but had to relinquish it to Kedah in 2017 after losing on penalties. However, in 2018 JDT regained the trophy.
