"I had actually signed for Selangor already but the deal fell through because they had not paid the signing on fee, so the contract became void.

I was on holiday and my agent called saying that JDT were interested. I didn't have to think twice," said Eldstal during the hour-long podcast.

"I won everything at JDT... nine trophies in total, including the AFC Cup. I was very driven in the first two years but I was then hit with injuries.

"I started thinking what was next and that was when I went into the clothing industry. But I still got a new contract and I have to thank HRH Tunku Ismail and the club for believing in me despite the distractions and injuries.

I have an amazing relationship with HRH Tunku Ismail and JDT, even till now.”

Eldstal returned to England at the end of the 2018 season and is now working on a fitness related application.
