With the start of preseason training yesterday, JDT's main focus now is to prepare for the 2019 season. Besides preparing the team to be stronger, JDT will face a big mission next season and create history when they play in the AFC Champions League group stage. [1/6]

Defending the Charity Cup and winning the Malaysian Super League and two more domestic trophies are surely among JDT's main focus for next year.

It is important for JDT to defend the league title because it is an automatic ticket to the AFC Champions League 2020 and it will improve their standing record of winning the title for six consecutive times.

Other than the domestic trophies under their belt, JDT has their own objective at the Asian level when they compete for the first time in the ACL and surely it will not be just to complete in the fixtures but to challenge the football standard at Asia's highest level.

This main mission has been made clear by HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor, to all JDT players and fans for a long time and will now be seen through to the end.
