Shandong Luneng from the People's Republic of China have finished third in the Chinese Super League and stands a chance of becoming one of the club's competing in the 2019 AFC Champions League Group E. [1/3]

Shandong will meet the winners of Playoff East 2.2 between Bangkok United and Hanoi FC and will advance to the group stage if they win the playoff match on 19 February 2019.
