New recovery equipment at Johor Darul Ta'zim FC (JDT) has already caught the attention of midfielder Natxo Insa, who has ordered the same device for his home. [1/7]
Insa, who arrived from Spanish side Levante in 2017, was impressed by the Hypervolt Vibration Massage Device and wanted his own device so he could use it for recovery purposes at home.

His desire to purchase the device shows a maturity of wanting to care for his well-being, something all footballers should pay attention to in order to maximise their career.

The Hypervolt Vibration Massage Device helps increase blood circulation and oxygen distribution to various parts of the body, especially the area it is being used on.

This decreases post-workout muscle pain and cramps, which accelerates the body's ability to heal and recover. It could also be used pre-workout to help warm up and activate muscles.

Apart from the device, JDT have spent RM1.4 million to upgrade JDT's Sports Science Department. Among the new additions are Sports Scientist Costas Rostandis and new equipment such as Saliva Testing Kits, Super Inductive System and Smartspeed System Gates.

Dietary needs, training methods and psychological assistance have also been improved ahead of the 2019 season.
