Johor Darul Ta'zim FC's (JDT) first pre-season training session at Padang Seri Gelam Training Centre on Monday saw 13 players from JDT II train with the senior team. [1/4]

With as many as seven players away on International duty and a couple of new additions still pending, the 13 JDT players completed the training squad of 26 alongside new signings Maurício dos Santos Nascimento and Aarón Ñíguez.

The 13 are Hasbullah Abu Bakar, Adib Zainudin, Fazly Mazlan, Azrul Haziq, Khairullah Halim, Samuel Somerville, Ernest Wong, Hafify Haikal, Awang Muhammad Faiz Hazziq, Nicolas Fernandez, Darren Lok, Che Rashid Che Halim and S. Kumaahran.

The exposure to the senior team also offers the players a chance to impress Luciano Figueroa ahead of a 2019 season that sees the Southern Tigers set out to win a record sixth consecutive MSL title and compete in the AFC Champions League group stage for the first time.
