JDT players will resume their preseason training starting 4 January 2019 following a short break in conjunction with Christmas and New Year celebrations. All players including those representing the national team will report back for the routine training sessions. [1/2]


The training sessions are part of the club's preparations for the hectic 2019 season, especially considering the AFC Champions League matches that JDT will be participating for the first time as well as challenges faced in the M-League. Luaskan Kuasamu Johor.

And while 2018 has had its challenges, we must also look back on this year with the knowledge that brighter days are ahead of us - that although our challenges are great, each of us has the resolution and determination to rise up and meet them.

I know that the road ahead appears daunting: rising cost of living, bleak economic outlook, political instability are just some of the challenges.
But in Johor, believe me when I say we can have a well-founded confidence about our future.

The Johor Royal family will continue to cooperate with the State Government in making sure that continue to prosper, and not be unnecessarily burdened.

This year alone, His Majesty has donated 60.7ha land for affordable housing project, provide scholarships to the underprivileged students and renewed commitment for the environment, just to name a few.

And I will continue to speak my mind, state the truth even when it is uncomfortable. Never will I ever hush my voice for someone's comfort. Johoreans will always be my utmost priority.

The work does not stop there. I believe with our commitment, the steps we have taken – and continue to take – will ensure that Johor’s growth is sustainable and inclusive, lifting up all segments of society. Insya-Allah.

I would also like to take this opportunity to urge politicians from both sides of the divide to start prioritizing the people, quit politicking and start governing. Rally together, work with one another to build a brighter future for all.
