Keberangkatan DYMM Sultan Ibrahim, Sultan Johor dan DYAM Mejar Jeneral Tunku Ismail, Tunku Mahkota Johor serta Keluarga Diraja secara tidak dirancang di pelbagai daerah adalah detik yang menggembirakan buat segenap lapisan masyarakat di negeri Johor.
Tujuan baginda adalah semata-mata ingin mengetahui dan melihat sendiri perkembangan kehidupan seharian rakyat. Walaupun jadual harian yang begitu padat, masa tetap diluangkan kerana rakyat adalah seperti nadi utama buat Kesultanan Johor. Segala pemerhatian baginda akan disampaikan kepada pihak yang bertanggungjawab dalam melaksanakan keperluan-keperluan rakyat dan negeri.
DYMM Sultan Johor seringkali menjengah rakyat di luar pagar Istana Johor serta menjamu rakyat makan bersama di daerah singgahan baginda. Perkara sama turut dilakukan oleh DYAM Tunku Mahkota. Lawatan mengejut ke pasar awam, tapak projek rumah impian Bangsa Johor, hospital-hospital, terminal pengangkutan awam, melawat anak-anak yatim serta turut bermain bola bersama mereka, ke pasar jualan masyarakat India dan ke medan selera antara contoh yang dapat dilihat.
Segala yang dilakukan adalah atas dasar keprihatinan dan kasih terhadap rakyat. Ceritera rakyat bertemu Keluarga Diraja Johor yang diturunkan dari zaman ke zaman adalah sejarah yang amat bernilai.
Tidak menghairankan mengapa rakyat Johor amat memahami budi dan keluhuran Kesultanan Johor. Dinamiknya Institusi Raja dan institusi rakyat akan terus diperkasa di Johor, sepertimana yang dititahkan oleh Sultan Sir Ibrahim dahulu iaitu Johor Akan Sentiasa Jadi Johor. Allah Peliharakan Sultan.

Spontaneous visits made by HM Sultan Ibrahim, Sultan of Johor, and HRH Major General Tunku Ismail, Crown Prince of Johor, as well as the Royal Family to various districts are joyous moments enjoyed by all walks of life in Johor.
The purpose is to understand and personally observe the daily lives of the people. Despite having a hectic daily schedule, time is always made available because the people is like the pulse of the Johor Sultanate. All observations will be passed to people responsible in addressing the needs of the people and state.
HM Sultan of Johor has often greeted the people outside the gates of the Johor Palace and eaten with the people in any district His Majesty is in. The same has been done by HRH Crown Prince. Surprise visits to public markets, Bangsa Johor housing sites, hospitals, public transport terminals, orphanages to visit orphans and play football with them, Indian community markets, and food courts are some of the examples that could be observed.
Everything has been done based on love and concern for the people. Stories of people meeting the Johor Royal Family that get passed down from generations to generations are valuable parts of history.
It is no surprise why the Johor people understand the kindness and virtues shown by the Johor Sultanate.
