Allah Peliharakan Sultan.

INTERESTING FACTS | HISTORY OF JOHOR | KEMBARA MAHKOTA JOHOR A CONTINUITY OF CONCORD BETWEEN RULERS AND PEOPLE - PART TWO
During the reign of Sultan Sir Abu Bakar, His Majesty often visited Johor districts such as Muar and Endau if His Majesty did not have any overseas matter to attend to. His Majesty wanted to personally observe the development of the state and it was a priority to meet local communities.
Just like the father, Sultan Sir Ibrahim also had the same manner. His Majesty often travelled to districts to meet the locals and observing the state's progress was His Majesty's favourite pastime. Any unresolved matters of the people would be directed to government departments.
Realising it is not be easy for all the people to meet the ruler at the palace due to protocols and cultures, HM Sultan of Johor and HRH Crown Prince of Johor have made it an effort to allocate time to get closer to the people regardless of area and location.
Through Sultan Iskandar's suggestion, a special programme was carefully constructed with a concept of touring around Johor to meet and get closer to the people in 2001. The first edition of Kembara Mahkota Johor was also participated by various corporate entities and government agencies.
The people of all districts would be eagerly waiting for the arrival of His Majesty and the royal family to their districts. Besides official functions, HM Sultan Ibrahim has often been seen ignoring protocols to listen to the people's stories and challenges faced by them.
Interestingly, the problems highlighted would be immediately taken care of by relevant parties participating in the tour. Allah Peliharakan Sultan.
