DYAM TUNKU MAHKOTA JOHOR SEKALI LAGI MENERIMA PENGHORMATAN DALAM DUNIA BOLASEPAK

DYAM Mejar Jeneral Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Mahkota Johor menerima penghormatan apabila dijemput oleh Pengarah Urusan Legends Collection, Mr. Marcelo Ordas ke koleksi syarikat beliau di Buenos Aires, Argentina. Beliau sebelum ini telah mengetahui bagaimana revolusi yang telah dilakukan oleh DYAM Tunku Mahkota Johor kepada Kelab Bolasepak Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) daripada kelab yang kerdil menjadi kelab yang berpengaruh dan beliau amat berminat untuk berjumpa dengan baginda secara berhadapan.

Terdapat pelbagai koleksi barangan bersejarah di Legends Collection ini seperti jersi-jersi lama dari seluruh negara, kasut bola dan barangan-barangan yang berkaitan dengan bola sepak Argentina turut dipamerkan. Legends Collection ini adalah satu tempat yang harus dikunjungi oleh mana-mana peminat bola sepak apabila berada di Argentina.

Menurut beliau segala koleksi bersejarah ini berjumlah hampir 100 juta Euro termasuklah koleksi paling bersejarah mereka iaitu bola yang digunakan pada Piala Dunia pertama pada tahun 1930. Selain dari itu, beliau turut mempunyai simpanan jersi kelab bolasepak Boca Juniors dan ‘Match Pennat’ ketika menentang Jemputan Selangor XI di Stadium Merdeka pada tahun 1982. Ketika itu Maradona mengetuai Boca Juniors dan Allahyarham Mokhtar Dahari mengetuai Jemputan Selangor XI.

Adalah satu penghargaan apabila DYAM Tunku Mahkota Johor telah diberikan jersi lama yang ditandatangani oleh Diego Maradona dan Lionel Messi selain daripada ‘Match Pennant’ antara Boca Juniors menentang Jemputan Pilihan Selangor dan replika Piala Dunia.

Mereka juga akan membuat ‘road tour’ ke seluruh dunia dan akan berada di Qatar untuk Piala Dunia Qatar 2022.

HRH CROWN PRINCE OF JOHOR ONCE AGAIN HONOURED BY THE FOOTBALLING WORLD

HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor was honoured by an invitation of the Managing Director of Legends Collection, Mr. Marcelo to visit their company's collections in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has been aware of the revolution started by HRH Crown Prince of Johor for Johor Darul Ta'zim FC (JDT), transforming them from a small club to an influential club, and he was keen on meeting His Royal Highness in person.

There were various historic memorabilia at Legends Collection such as old national jerseys, football boots, and items related to Argentine football on display. Legends Collection is a must-visit place for any football fan when in Argentina.

According to Mr. Marcelo, the historic collection was valued close to 100 million Euros which included the most historic item in their collection, the football used at the first World Cup in 1930. Besides that, he also had a collection of Boca Juniors jerseys and a match pennant of their match against Selangor XI at the Merdeka Stadium in 1982. At that time Maradona led Boca Juniors and the late Mokhtar Dahari captained Selangor XI.

It was an honour when HRH Crown Prince of Johor was presented with an old jersey signed by Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi as well as a match pennant of the match between Boca Juniors and Selangor XI and a World Cup replica.

They will also be doing a road tour around the world and will be in Qatar for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
