Besides having a good first team, Johor Darul Ta'zim FC (JDT) have never shirked their responsibility in grassroots football development. Teams at the academy level are important because they help produce young talented players for the senior team. [1/6]

Looking at the JDT Academy teams for the 2018 season, there are six JDT Academy teams starting from U12, U13, U14, U15, U17 and U19 that have been provided with proper training and sent to compete at local and international tournaments.

The JDT Academy teams have won various tournaments they have entered. This is something positive because every team competing under the JDT name uses a playing style that is identical and in line with the first team.

Besides being exposed to the professionalism aspect of modern footballers, they have also been given opportunities to train in a well-equipped and advanced training centre.

This in turn will improve the young players' spirits and instill a winning mentality that is the core of every JDT player.

With the exposure and success enjoyed by the JDT Academy squads, JDT will not be short of new talents and the JDT Academy players are clear on their direction of a better future in wearing the red and blue jersey. Luaskan Kuasamu Johor.
