As the premier AFC Champions League beckons in 2019, Johor Darul Ta'zim FC (JDT) will leave being a proud record in Asia's second-tier AFC Cup. [1/6]

Champions in 2015 after a historic debut season finale against Istiklol in Tajikistan, the Southern Tigers have played 36 matches in the AFC Cup between 2015 and 2018.

JDT won 24 of the 36 matches for a win ratio of 66.67%. The Johor outfit drew five (13.89%) and lost only seven times (19.44%). [3/6]
Interestingly, JDT have a near impeccable record at their home, the Tan Sri Dato' Haji Hassan Yunos Stadium in Larkin, winning 16 of their 18 matches. The other two ended in 1-1 draws to South China AA (2015) and Bengaluru FC (2015). [4/6]
After becoming the first Southeast Asian and East Asian side to win the AFC Cup, at the first attempt nonetheless, JDT reached the semi-final in 2016. The Southern Tigers reached a newly introduced Asean Zonal semi-final in 2017 and competed in the group stages this year. [5/6]
