"I constantly seek improvement in every area - the players, coaches, management, support system, fans and not forgetting the infrastructure. We already have top-notch facilities but I still aspire for better ones." [5/9]
The opening of the new Sultan Ibrahim Stadium and the recent announcement of a new training ground to be built adjacent to the new stadium are among the bigger things in store. The club will also make an entry to the 2019 AFC Champions League group stage. [6/9]
Behind the scenes, the tie-ups with Borussia Dortmund and Valencia has seen the academy shaping up into winners. The Under-15 and Under-18 sides emerged winners at the 2018 Malaysian Schools Sports Council (MSSM) Football Tournament. [7/9]
The Under-12s reached the quarter-finals while the Under-13 side won the 2018 JSSL International Professional 7's in Singapore. The Under-14 squad are on the verge of reaching the KPM-FAM Youth Cup final too. [8/9]
Coaching education is also an on-going process with regular programmes to increase the capacity and experience of the coaches to manage the Academy teams. Selected coaches also attend sessions in foreign countries such as Germany, Spain, England and Japan. [9/9]
