Leading the way in terms of minutes played among those below 25 years old at the club was 2018 Southern Tigers top scorer Safawi Rasid.

The 21-year-old scored an impressive 16 goals and made five assists in the 2,159 minutes he was on the pitch. He started 25 matches and came off the bench 10 times.

24-year-old midfielders Afiq Fazail and Nazmi Faiz had a fair share of appearances. Afiq played 1,086 minutes in 16 matches while Nazmi managed 994 minutes in 21 matches. The duo scored three goals and three assists between them.

Malaysia Under-23 players Syafiq Ahmad, Adam Nor Azlin and Syamer Kutty Abba were also fielded in some matches.

Syafiq played a role in 15 matches, scoring two and assisting two, while defender Adam played in eight matches. Syamer managed seven appearances but the midfielder was away on a stint with Portuguese club Vilaverdense until May.

The likes of Fazly Mazlan, Dominic Tan and Haziq Nadzli received a handful of senior team appearances and were regulars at Johor Darul Ta'zim II in the Malaysia Premier League.
