Johor Darul Ta'zim FC (JDT) recognises the need to make footballers better human beings as it is not just what transpires on the pitch that matters, but how a footballer carries themselves off the pitch plays a role in their development too. [1/9]

Character is an important factor in the lives of many and footballers are not excluded. Such has been the belief of JDT 'Boss' HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim. [2/9]

The Crown Prince of Johor has met countless of key men in the footballing world ranging from decisions makers, top coaches to world-class players of the past and present, and there were many ideas exchanged - including what makes a successful football club. [3/9]

Back at the JDT Academy, the goal is to develop and educate people who could become top professionals with great character. [4/9]

Apart from the football training, the JDT Academy is focussed on instilling values and healthy habits such as discipline, dietary, mental toughness and so on. [5/9]

Education is also emphasised as the academy trainees are sent to school and go for extra classes together, all with an aim that the players will mature and also build a closer bond. [6/9]

JDT's main goal is to provide trainees with all the requirements needed to perform successfully at the highest level possible. [7/9]

Influences from Borussia Dortmund and Valencia have also been adopted through partnerships to ensure JDT have a sound development programme. The results are already showing. [8/9]

The Under-15 and Under-18 sides emerged winners at the 2018 Malaysian Schools Sports Council (MSSM) Football Tournament. The Under-12s reached the quarter-finals while the Under-13 side won the 2018 JSSL International Professional 7's in Singapore. [9/9]
