Despite losing in the unifi Piala Malaysia 2018 semi-final first leg, Johor Darul Ta'zim FC (JDT) are not flustered to face Terengganu FC in the second leg at the Tan Sri Dato' Haji Hassan Yunos Stadium, Larkin on 20 October. [1/6]
Based on past records, JDT have made three comebacks in cup competitions after losing the first leg whether at home or away. [2/6]
The first time JDT made a comeback was in the FA Cup 2013 quarter-finals. After losing 2-1 to Selangor at Larkin, JDT bounced back with a 2-1 win in Shah Alam before winning 4-2 on penalties and qualified for the semi-finals. [3/6]
The second time was when JDT beat Felda United 3-1 at Larkin despite losing 3-4 in the first leg of the Malaysia Cup 2014 semi-finals to qualify for the final. [4/6]
The FA Cup 2016 semi-finals saw JDT defeat Kedah 3-1 at Larkin despite losing 2-1 at the Darul Aman Stadium. The victory saw JDT reach the final before emerging as FA Cup winners for the first time. [5/6]
Thus JDT need to stay focused to welcome the visit of Terengganu FC at Larkin. Nothing is impossible and with the Larkin roar echoing, surely it will boost the players' spirits to defend the Malaysia Cup. Luaskan Kuasamu Johor. [6/6]
