The unifi Piala Malaysia dilemma is having an effect on Johor Darul Ta'zim and it's very clear from the matches we have played thus far. Thread 1/5

It is not easy to motivate the players further after telling them all year that the unifi Malaysia Super League was our top priority in 2018 and because we needed to become the first Malaysian club to play in the AFC Champions League.

Hence even the AFC Cup, which we have valued a lot in previous years, took a backseat compared to the league campaign. The players have achieved their target by winning the league title and were so motivated in doing that. Thread 3/5
Now it is coming towards the end of the season and I wonder if some players want a longer break after a gruelling league campaign and before the 2019 season. Thread 4/5

The AFF Suzuki Cup is after the current season ends and this will add to the plethora of games they have already played this year, and winning the Piala Malaysia may not offer anything more than a medal to some. I hope this is not the case. HRH Crown Prince of Johor Thread 5/5
