Johor Darul Ta'zim FC (JDT) are not only a successful football club but also a club that give chances to players to plan careers, build side careers and improve the character and image of the players wearing the red and blue jersey.

1. PLANNING PROGRESSION

JDT are a club actively developing the career of a football players from the grassroots level. Grassroots programmes are held in every Johor district.

Talent scouts are hired to identify and scout players with high potential to be absorbed into the JDT Academy as well as JDT teams.

The JDT football academy project is the brainchild of club owner HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor, who wants Johor football development to begin from the grassroots level.

With the academy, the Johor young talents can be polished and their career paths are clearer.

2. BUILD SIDE CAREERS

JDT have educated the players on preparations needed to be made once their careers are over or they retire.

Some of them such as Aidil Zafuan, Safiq Rahim and Junior Eldstal have had their own businesses ongoing, while Shakir Shaari has also been preparing to start his new career as a coach next season.

3. IMPROVE THE PLAYERS' CHARACTER AND IMAGE

JDT are a club that emphasis on the image and character of a player. The JDT management does not fret in offering contacts to players who have had problematic backgrounds in terms of attitude or discipline.

At JDT, the players are given motivation and instilled with a positive attitude. With the concept "nobody is bigger than the club", it has become the main factors in the players turning over a new leaf.
