It has come to our attention that several players, including a former Johor Darul Ta'zim FC midfielder, are being linked with a move to the Southern Tigers. Thread 1/4
The Malaysian season is nearing the end and it does not surprise me that the rumour mill is already in full gear. Unsurprisingly, JDT is often mentioned in the rumours and I believe this is simply because of the marketability of the JDT brand.
Thread 2/4
It is common for players to be linked to JDT because it will indirectly raise the profile of a player and help in obtaining a better contract elsewhere. This is an unhealthy yet common practice around the world.
Thread 3/4
I would advise all parties to only obtain accurate information from our official source (JOHOR Southern Tigers). The club will make announcements from time to time.
