KEY POINTS OF HRH CROWN PRINCE OF JOHOR’S CASUAL CHAT SESSION WITH FANS | 26TH AUGUST 2018 "STRICT RULES AND NO TRANSPORTATION TO THE STADIUM BEING THE CAUSE OF DECLINING ATTENDANCE?" Thread 1/8
The management has made the decision to close the gates of the stadium at 9.00pm. The stadium's smoking ban is in line with FIFA's ruling for all football stadiums around the world. It is not our decision and it cannot be changed.
Thread 2/8
The club has tried many initiatives to get the fans to come to the stadium including bearing the cost of two or three busses for every district to shuttle fans to the stadium.
Thread 3/8
The shuttle bus service is prepared to ease the parking problems at the stadium. The management also maintains the same policy of keeping ticket prices at RM10 only, the cheapest in the country.
Thread 4/8
Besides that, the management also organises events such as mini carnival at the rear of the stadium for the fans. True?
Thread 5/8
But fans attendance still keep declining. If JDT haven't won a trophy in two or three years, I would understand and accept the fate. JDT has raised trophies and wrote history after history, non stop, on and off the field.
Thread 6/8
Being the team that conceded the least amount of goals, unbeaten in the 2016 league season, scoring the most goals and collecting the most points out off all competing teams.
Thread 7/8
After all the club has achieved and prepared initiative for the fans to come to the stadium, we at the club are stuck with the declining fan attendance at the stadium. I feel you have to ask yourselves this question.
