Johor Darul Ta'zim Football Club (JDT) only had good intentions with the National Day message but we regret that this has been misinterpreted by certain quarters. Thread 1/4

"Happy National Day to my friend Malaysia" is something that should have been taken positively and the rest was about the history of the Johor state, which is also an important part of Malaysia's history as we reflect upon the National Day.
Thread 2/4
As far as we know, the word "friend" is a good word as it denotes closeness. We must not forget that each State has its own history, and it is the same for Johor, like the Federation agreement with Johor and the agreements with Sabah and Sarawak. Thread 3/4

Instead our message seems to be manipulated by those outside Johor, cybertroopers and fellow Johoreans who have fallen for the bait of certain people to make it look like the club was making a negative remark. Happy National Day, Malaysia. Thread 4/4
