Regarding the target for the Malaysia Cup this year, JDT have one policy. The policy or philosophy is to win every match and competition. But sometimes in reality there are things that are more meaningful and we need to prioritise compared to others.

Sometimes I feel it is okay to lose in other competitions but not lose in the league. Thread 3/11

We want to win all competitions but the 11 players on the pitch are people, not machines, and can feel tired, have feelings, and sometimes to understand someone, I try to put myself in their shoes. Thread 4/11

From the start of the season I have emphasised on winning the league and the mission has been accomplished. Thread 5/11

There are many implications of Johor not winning the league this year. Malaysian football would've been affected in terms of mentality. Thread 6/11

Why? It is because we are the ones starting a revolution on facilities, sports science, youth development, various things as well as on-time payment of player salaries. Thread 7/11

Imagine if another team won it this year, other fans would've said that we didn't need all those things to play in the ACL. This indirectly would've affected the mentality of Malaysian football. Thread 8/11

Regardless, we will try our best to win. But in my opinion, it is not easy. It is because the players have already become league champions, which means their mission is accomplished. I hope they will fight to the end to win every match and competition we play in. Thread 9/11

In conclusion, yes, the Malaysia Cup is a target too but it is difficult. I need to put pressure on the players. Thread 10/11
