When our fans requested that the date for the match against Kelantan be changed, we understood that it was a valid request as the match is scheduled on a weekday. Thread 1/6

We did not think that it would pose any problems due to the fact that we have already been declared champions. With this, we formally wrote to the Malaysian Football League (MFL) requesting that the date of the match be changed.
Thread 2/6

Upon MFL receiving our letter, there is a certain due process that they would have to follow such as seeking the opinions of other teams as well as asking whether or not they agree. MFL belongs to all teams competing. Thread 3/6
So far, MFL have done everything according to the standard procedure and the other teams have agreed. What baffles me is why are the other fans making such fuss? We have followed the regulations and furthermore, we are already the champions. Thread 4/6

We have also approached the very same team on our own to discuss the possibility of changing the dates and they too have agreed. We even approached the team we will be facing in our next match and they too have agreed to the change. Thread 5/6

All the other teams have also agreed. If there was no agreement, we most certainly would not have gone through with it. This does not contradict any laws, but why are the fans making such a fuss? I simply don't understand it. Alistair Edwards Thread 6/6
