FAKTA MENARIK | SEJARAH NEGERI JOHOR | JOHOR SENTIASA MENCIPTA SEJARAH
Kesultanan Johor dan pewaris takhtanya sejak dahulu hingga kini tidak pernah berhenti daripada memastikan Johor bukan sahaja terus maju tetapi sentiasa mencipta sejarahnya tersendiri. Sultan Sir Abu Bakar memperkasakan sejarah dengan menjadikan Johor negeri melayu pertama mempunyai hubungan diplomatik baik dengan pemerintah tertinggi kerajaan-kerajaan besar di seluruh pelusuk dunia.
Johor terus mencipta sejarah ulung apabila menyertai pelbagai siri pameran antarabanga di tengah-tengah benua Eropah dan negara lain seperti Australia bermula penghujung kurun ke-19, yang diberi nama Johore Pavilion. Produk negeri melayu lain seperti kain tenun Terengganu juga diletakkan dibawah “Rumah Johor” di pameran tersebut.
Sultan Sir Ismail turut mencipta sejarah yang tidak pernah difikirkan oleh Tanah Melayu ketika itu dan impaknya besar pada pelancongan dan ekonomi negeri Johor dengan mengadakan Johore International Grand Prix litar di dalam bandar yang pertama seumpamanya. Perlumbaan tersebut turut disertai oleh anakandanya iaitu Sultan Iskandar yang pada ketika itu Tunku Mahkota Johor.
Sultan Iskandar juga mencipta sejarah antaranya mengilhamkan kepada anakandanya program khas bagi merapatkan Raja, Kerajaan Johor dan rakyat dengan program tahunan yang dinamakan Kembara Mahkota Johor. Hingga kini Johor masih menjadi negeri pertama melakukannya secara sistematik. DYMM Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar meneruskan lagi didikan turun temurun tersebut sehingga sekarang.
DYAM Mejar Jeneral Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail pula mencipta sejarah yang mengharumkan nama Johor dan negara apabila baginda dipilih sendiri oleh Presiden India A.P.J Abdul Kalam, mengetuai Rejimen Tentera Berkuda Kalvari India Ke-61 dalam perbarisan hari kemerdekan Republik India ke-57 pada tahun 2007 dihadapan ayahandanya dan nendanya serta tetamu khas Presiden Rusia Vladimir Putin.
Sejarah demi sejarah tidak pernah terhenti setakat itu. DYAM Tunku Mahkota Johor mahu rakyat Johor terus bersatu dan salah satu caranya adalah melalui medan bola sepak. Erti kata putus asa, penat lelah dan jemu tidak pernah ada dalam kamus hidup baginda. Perpaduan Bangsa Johor adalah hadiah termahal buat Keluarga Diraja Johor. Allah Peliharakan Sultan.

For a long time, the Johor Sultanate and heirs to the throne have never stopped ensuring Johor continues not only to prosper but also create history. Sultan Sir Abu Bakar was the trailblazer, making Johor the first Malay state to have good diplomatic ties with rulers of major nations around the world.
Johor then continued to create history by participating in international shows in Europe and other countries such as Australia at the end of the 19th century, which was called the Johore Pavilion. Products of other Malay states such as the Terengganu kain tenun were displayed at "House of Johor" at those shows.
Sultan Sir Ismail also created an unprecedented history in Malaya at the time and a huge impact on the Johor tourism and economy by organising the Johore International Grand Prix in the city. The race was also participated by His Majesty's son, Sultan Iskandar, who was then the Crown Prince of Johor.
Sultan Iskandar also created history, among of which was inspiring His Majesty's son with a special programme to bring the monarchy, the Johor government and the people together known as Kembara Mahkota Johor. To date Johor has remained as the first state to do it systematically. HM Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar has continued the tradition until today.
HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor, also made history by making Johor and the country proud when His Royal Highness was selected by President of India A.P.J Abdul Kalam to lead India's mounted 61st Cavalry Regiment during the Republic of India's 57th independence celebration in 2007 in front of His Royal Highness' father and grandfather as well as special guest President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
History after history has never ceased to be written. HRH Crown Prince of Johor wants the Johor people to unite and one of the way's is through football. Words such as giving up, tiredness and boredom are not in His Royal Highness' dictionary. The unity of Bangsa Johor is the most precious gift for the Johor Royal Family. Allah Peliharakan Sultan.
