Tunku Abdul Jalil actively contributed to the people through the sailing world by introducing the Malaysian Sailing League and a youth sailing programme in 2013. Thread 7/10

It provided opportunities to thousands of youth who could not afford to gain experience in sailing and sailboats. In 2014, His Highness received the President Development Award from the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) in 2014. Thread 8/10

On 5 December 2015, Tunku Abdul Jalil passed away peacefully. His Highness' passing was a sad day for the Johor people, which was also felt by the Malaysian people. Thread 9/10
