FAKTA MENARIK | SEJARAH JOHOR | LAWATAN SULTAN SIR IBRAHIM KE NEGARA JEPUN
Usaha hubungan diplomatik dan dua hala antara negeri Johor dan negara-negara luar sejak pemerintahan Sultan Sir Abu Bakar dilakukan terus menerus demi kemajuan negeri Johor Darul Ta’zim. Sama ada melibatkan penyertaan pegawai-pegawai tinggi kerajaan atau dilakukan secara peribadi oleh Sultan Johor.
Pada tahun 1934, Sultan Sir Ibrahim telah berangkat ke negara Jepun dalam perjalanan baginda ke Amerika Syarikat dan berkenan bertemu sahabat baginda, Marquis Yoshichika Tokugawa pada 26 March di Tokyo, Jepun. Beliau merupakan anak pemerintah Daimyo terakhir Echizen Han dari keluarga bangsawan yang berpengaruh ketika itu. Pertemuan tersebut telah diadakan di Tokugawa House di Tokyo.
Sehingga kini, hubungan baik dengan negara-negara luar diteruskan oleh DYMM Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar dan DYAM Mejar Jeneral Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Mahkota Johor. Allah Peliharakan Sultan.

The diplomatic and bilateral relations between Johor and foreign countries since the reign of Sultan Sir Abu Bakar was done continuously for the sake of the state of Johor Darul Ta’zim. Whether with the high government official participation or personally made by the Sultan of Johor.
In 1934, Sultan Sir Ibrahim travelled to Japan on his way to the United States and agreed to meet his best friend Marquis Yoshichika Tokugawa on March 26 in Tokyo, Japan. He was the son of the last Daimyo of Echizen Han of the influential family at that time. The meeting was held at the Tokugawa House in Tokyo.
Good relations with foreign nations are still kept and continued by HM Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar and HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor. Allah Peliharakan Sultan.
