Every year HM Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Sultan of Johor, will lead the Kembara Mahkota Johor (KMJ) tour, an official event for His Majesty to get close to the people in all districts in Johor.

Setiap tahun, DYMM Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Sultan Johor akan mengetuai Kembara Mahkota Johor (KMJ) yang menjadi acara rasmi untuk baginda mendekatkan diri dengan rakyat jelata di kesemua daerah dalam negeri Johor. DYMM Raja Zarith Sofiah Binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah, Permaisuri Johor serta putera dan puteri baginda turut sama menyertai rombongan kembara ini.

KMJ ini adalah salah satu cara bagi Sultan Johor beramah mesra sambil melakukan aktiviti bersama segenap lapisan rakyat. Baginda turut meninjau pembangunan dan kemajuan yang sedang dilaksanakan di setiap pelusuk negeri Johor sepanjang acara KMJ diadakan. Baginda telah menyertai acara ini sejak 17 tahun yang lalu semasa baginda masih menyandang gelaran Tunku Mahkota Johor. Allah Peliharakan Sultan.
